Dr. Drew Hamilton is West Wind Dental’s primary implant dentist. He also sees patients of all ages for regular dental care.
Dr. Hamilton is originally from the Kalamazoo area. He was a standout athlete and scholar for Schoolcraft Community Schools. Upon graduation, he attended Michigan State University, where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Human Nutrition/Human Physiology. MSU athletics is a very big part of his life and he attends as many sporting events in a given year that his schedule will allow. He completed his doctoral education at the University of Detroit Mercy and has now been practicing clinically for 7 years. Personally, he and his wife Jolie welcomed their first child, a daughter, in early 2015.
Dr. Hamilton is an active member of several professional organizations including; the American Dental Association, the Michigan Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the Kalamazoo Valley District Dental Society, the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a fellow in the International Implant Association. He is pursuing fellowship in the American Academy of Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Hamilton is dedicated to progressing his skills and services through continuing education. In 2016 alone he took over 150 credit hours in dental implant clinical seminars with Dr. Arun Garg and partakes in a comprehensive prosthodontics curriculum with the Kois Institute in Seattle Washington.
